- The Antarctic Dream was built in Haarlem, Holland launched as the “Piloto Pardo” in October of 1957, it was specially constructed for Ice - navigation. The ship was incorporated into the Chilean Navy in April of 1959 and since 2005 Antarctic Shipping is doing Expedition Cruises to the Polar Regions
