Antarctic Voyage across Polar Circle featured in ATTA Newsletter

Our newest Antarctica adventure, a 14-day voyage that features a Polar Circle Crossing, was recently highlighted by the Adventure Travel Trade Association (ATTA) in their newsletter. The ATTA's newsletter is focused on providing adventure travelers with the latest in international travel news.

Departing from Ushuaia on January 6, 2012, the main goal of this special excursion is to cross the Polar Circle at 66°33’44”S. This once-in-a-lifetime Antarctic expedition cruise will take passengers to places seldom seen by human beings, providing a true first-hand experience with nature and its spectacular fauna. The Antarctic Dream will go across the narrow Lemaire Channel, whose high cliffs and narrow waterway make it one of the most beautiful passages in the world, and provided weather and ice conditions are good enough, passengers will be able to visit Petermann and Yalour islands. Adventurers will celebrate its arrival within Antarctica’s “inner circle” with a well-deserved glass of champagne, and then continue exploring the spectacular Antarctic Peninsula.
